What is FixturFab Studio?

FixturFab Studio is the online platform where engineers configure and order custom bed-of-nails test fixtures — with real-time pricing, no quote cycles, and test engineering expertise built into the workflow. You upload your design files, configure what you need, and order directly. We design, manufacture, and ship the fixture.

Studio is in open beta at studio.fixturfab.com. A free account gives you access to every tool below.

DFT Analysis (free)

Upload your test point data — a test point CSV or an IPC-D-356 netlist — and get an automated design-for-test report. The analysis catches errors that would prevent manufacturing a reliable fixture and flags warnings you can address to reduce cost or improve reliability, before you commit to a board spin or a fixture order.

Test Strategy (free, experimental)

Upload a PDF of your schematic and get a test strategy report covering functional test requirements, instrumentation considerations, and planning guidance. Analysis runs on private models in a secure environment — your schematic is not used to train anything.

Configure-price-quote workflow

The core of Studio. Create a device under test (DUT), upload your design files (ODB++, Gerber, or STEP models, test point lists, DFT reports), and build a test config — what can be tested with a fixture for your specific board. Studio then guides you through configuring a fixture, weighing fixture tiers and features with real-time pricing throughout. Quotes are finalized with engineer review before your order is confirmed.
